The Texas Moratorium Network

[TMN]

is an all-volunteer,
grassroots organization formed in
August 2000 with the primary goal of
mobilizing statewide support for
a moratorium on executions in Texas.
To accomplish this goal,
TMN is engaged in several
educational and outreach projects
and works closely with other
groups devoted to human rights,
criminal justice reform and
death penalty abolition.
These groups include
the Texas Coalition to Abolish
the Death Penalty,
the Campaign to
End the Death Penalty,
Unitarian Universalists
against the Death Penalty,
the Texas Criminal
Justice Reform Coalition,
the ACLU,
and Amnesty International.
We believe that significant
death penalty reform
in Texas,
including a
moratorium on executions,
is a viable goal
if the public
is educated on the
death penalty system and
is encouraged to contact their
elected representatives to urge
passage of moratorium legislation.

[Texas
Execution Watch Counter]

THE NOVEMBER COALITION
is a non-profit,
grassroots organization who are
educating the public about the
destructive increase in prison population
in the United States due to
our current drug laws.
We alert our fellow citizens,
particularly those who are
complacent or naive,
about the present
and impending dangers of
an overly powerful
federal authority
acting far beyond its
constitutional constraints.
The drug war is an assault and
steady erosion of
our civil rights and
freedoms by
federal and state governments.

TEXAS PRISON LABOR UNION
The TPLU is now 12 years old,
having survived numerous confrontations
against the infamous
Texas Dept.of Criminal Justice system

that operates outside the Law with
total/complete Legal protection by the
Entire force of the Attorney General of Texas.
TPLU is a Registered Labor Union,
we have our EIN number, recordings with
the Dept. of Labor and the National Relations Board.

CEDP
Several years ago,
the Georgetown University
Chapter of the CEDP
held its first-ever
Death Penalty Awareness Week.
The event was so successful
building awareness on campus
that Death Penalty Awareness Week
has become an annual event
for all Campaign chapters nationally.
