FOOD FOR THOUGHT
by Dwight Rawlinson
Thomas Jefferson to Benjamin Rush, April 21, 1803
"It behooves every man who values liberty of conscience for himself, to resist invasions of it in the case of others; or their case may, by change of circumstances, become his own."
A Constitutional Republic, can Only remain viable, when the common people are aware of how the legal system is supposed to work and put forth the effort necessary to MAKE it work for their fellow Citizens.
None of the words above are mine, they are the words and thoughts of others: They are However, MY same ideals.
This gives me Heart to go on, as I know I am NOT alone in the Struggle. Maybe it is like Diogenes with his Lamp, wondering the Earth in Darkness, looking for Honesty. I believe that, in the TPLU group and a number of folks in other groups, I have found/located/come into working relationship with others of the Same ideas.
